Pĕrĭēgēsis, is, f., = Periêgêsis, a leading round to exhibit whatever is worth notice; hence, a geographical description. This term is used as the title of a poem by Avienus. —Hence, pĕrĭēgētĭcus, i, m., the writer of travels:
